These two neighboring and rival institutions were founded in the 1910s after Gus and Bill Keros, off the boat from their native Greece, had a row and went their separate ways, each creating his own establishment. As in all “Coney Island restaurants”, hot dogs, French fries, and Greek-inspired dishes (gyros, kebabs) are served. The best way to form an opinion is to try both!
