Where to Eat New restaurants are springing up all over Detroit, and the dining scene has never been so vibrant, making the city one of the country’s greatest foodie destinations today! This magnificent Queen Anne-style corner building (1891), the former premises of jewelry company Wright & Kay, is now occupied by shops (first floor) and this popular restaurant (second floor, entrance on John R. St, down the side) . With its picture windows, marble-topped tables, and benches, the place is reminiscent of a French brasserie. The American cuisine is elevated and original, with plates to share or to line up, tapas style, and local produce.
