the Treasurer may request. The Treasurer shall render, or require the President to render, a true state of the accounts of the Bureau to each meeting of the Board of Directors, or whenever requested to do so by the Board of Directors or Executive Committee.

7.8 All employees of the Bureau, includi ng the President, shall, at the Bureau’s expense, be placed under such bond as the Executive Committee shall determine.

ARTICLE 8 – EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE

The Executive Committee shall consist of:

8.1

(a) The elected officers of the Bureau who are members of the Board of Directors;

(b) The immediate past Chair; and

(c) Not more than twelve (12) other members of the Board of Directors, who shall be appointed by the Chair of the Board of Directors.

The President shall be an ex-officio member of the Executive Committee, without vote.

8.2 The Executive Committee shall act for the Board of Directors between meetings of the Board, within such general policies as the Board may establish and within such limitations as the Board may place upon its activity. All actions of the Executive Committee shall report to the Board of Directors and shall be subject to review and approval by the Board of Directors. 8.3 The Executive Committee shall meet no fewer than six (6) times each year, at such time and place as it may itself determine. Special meetings of the Executive Committee may be held on the call of the Chair or, in his absence, by request of the President. 8.4 One-third (1/3) of the members of the Executive Committee shall constitute a quorum at any regular or special meeting. The vote of a majority of members of the Executive Committee present at a meeting at which a quorum is present constitutes the action of the Executive Committee. A member of the Executive Committee may participate in a meeting of the Executive Committee by means of conference telephone or similar communications equipment by means of which all persons participating in the meeting can hear each other. Participation in a meeting pursuant to this section constitutes presence in person at the meeting. 8.5
